Meet the Maker
My name is Troy Barnett...
...a self-taught bladesmith living in Hickory, North Carolina! I found my passion late in life and strive to create functional, beautiful blades that can be cherished for generations.

I have always looked at scrap metal and visualized its potential use. I like to repurpose old materials and give them a new life. I especially love being able to tell the story of a piece's life from the objects used to make them.
I taught myself the bladesmith craft and now with over 10 years of forging under my belt, I create blades in my spare time and sell them online or in person at local craft shows. I am inspired by the history of the trade and the materials I use. Crafting for those in my community and making memories via more heirloom pieces they can pass on to family.
